Welcome to the Off Grid Expo – our annual weekend event held in Gympie Qld.

Each year we strive to make it bigger and better, inviting businesses and services that offer new and emerging off grid technologies.
We want to help you live off grid, while maintaining the lifestyle you need, to be happy and at home in your surroundings.

Many people now work from home or spend more time there, and this means we need a reliable power source to ensure comfort and connections. Our exhibitors will help you work out what you need and how to achieve this.

OFF GRID means many different things to many different people.

For some it may mean disconnecting from public utilities while for others it is choosing to live in a self-sufficient manner.

People are choosing to change the way they live their lives.

Some embrace the Tiny House Community or become travelling Nomads, while others move off grid.
The reasons are varied but include reducing the cost of living and minimising the impact we are having on our planet.

More and more people are choosing to grow their own food and learn old crafts and skills to enhance their lifestyle methods.
Crafts such as weaving and spinning, bread and cheese making, pottery and carpentry, reusing, recycling and repurposing.
Many people now support themselves financially by creating their own income stream through utilising their own passions and skills.
